Research
My research goal is to create Operations Research tools for data analytics and analytical decision making in engineering and business applications. More specifically, my research interests include
Optimization: linear/nonlinear/integer/conic optimization, computational methods for large-scale problems
Operations management: supply chain management, game theory.
Data analytics: statistical learning, approximation theory and computational methods.
Applications: Transportation and logistics, terrain and geometric modeling, scheduling, supply chain, finance, healthcare.
I also work with industry partners to extract business insights from data, optimize strategic planning and operational processes, reduce costs and maximize throughput. I use analytic tools of Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics and Math.
